Hey, Twin Fam! Roz and Niaz here with our Swiss adventure! After our magical time at Lake Como, we embarked on one of the most scenic train journeys ever—through the Swiss Alps to Zurich!
The Journey Through the Alps
The train ride from Lake Como to Zurich was nothing short of spectacular. As we climbed higher into the Swiss Alps, we watched the landscape transform from Italian lakeside charm to snow-capped peaks and pristine valleys. The engineering marvel of the Gotthard Base Tunnel had us geeking out—it's the longest and deepest railway tunnel in the world!

Zurich's Architectural Harmony
Arriving in Zurich, we were struck by how perfectly the city balances historic charm with modern innovation. The Old Town's medieval architecture, with its narrow streets and historic churches, seamlessly blends with contemporary design. The Fraumünster Church's Chagall windows were a highlight—stained glass that tells stories through color and light.

Lake Zurich's crystal-clear waters and the surrounding mountains create a natural masterpiece. We took a boat ride on the lake, admiring how the city's architecture reflects perfectly in the water. The Uetliberg mountain offered panoramic views of the city and lake—a perfect spot for sunset!
